This happy hour's inspiration question is:
How do you deal with public book distributions? What are your tips and tricks for crowd control? What reading-themed activities have worked best for your group? How do you get people to attend?
Please come and share information about this topic, or any of your success stories and challenges in this safe space.
NBAA members meet on the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 Eastern time for a virtual Happy Hour via Google Meet. Bring your favorite beverages and chill out with fellow book providers. We will break out into rooms if attendance is too large to have a good conversation.
This event is specifically designed for people involved in book distribution nonprofits who are passionate about book access. It's the perfect opportunity to network, share ideas, brainstorm solutions, and engage in meaningful conversations. Ideas and suggestions for topics? email hello@nationalbookaccess.org.
Please note that attendance at the Networking Happy Hours requires membership in the National Book Access Association. To become a member and gain access to this event, please click here: Join NBAA.
