Navigating New Policies: Strategies & Support for Book Access
(Note: This event was originally scheduled for Oct 13, which is a US holiday, so please note new day)
Across the country, new laws and local regulations are threatening how schools and libraries select titles and operate—changes that could disrupt free book distribution through our partners. In this critical October networking session, NBAA members will come together in a non-partisan setting to share worries, ask tough questions, and exchange proven strategies for responding to these shifts. We’ll draw on insights from regions and states nationwide to surface practical solutions and strengthen our collective defense of book access. This is a safe, off-the-record conversation—the session will not be recorded—so all attendees can speak openly and candidly. This session will be facilitated by Emily Cicchini (BookSpring) and Johnny Blount (Literacy Mid-South).

Please note: This real-time networking event is one of the prime benefits of membership in the National Book Access Association. To become a member and gain access to this event, please click here: Join the NBAA.
